Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant(s) in the  Rochester, WA area.

We're currently seeking a dedicated School Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant ($40-$45/hour) to support students from PreK to 12th grade in the Rochester, WA area for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications: 

  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy 

Role Overview:
As a COTA, you will help students develop fine motor skills, adapt to physical or cognitive challenges, or access appropriate educational tools and techniques under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:   

  • Schedule:  M-F, 7.5 hour days, 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload: 50, PreK – 12 at one building and grades 3-12 at another
  • Team: You will work with another on-site COTA and join a very knowledgeable, cohesive team
  • Dates:  8/14/25 – 6/3/26
  • Setting:  Schools
  • In-person only

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the assessment of students' needs and abilities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized therapy plans to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and coordination
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
