Job Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
  • Setting: Elementary (K-5)
  • School Year: August 11, 2025- May 21, 2026

Role Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Exceptional Services, you’ll design and deliver specialized instruction for students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general education curriculum through tailored accommodations, behavioral supports, and evidence-based strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct/indirect instructional support in a positive, structured learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods (e.g., multi-sensory techniques, repetition) to meet diverse needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with parents, administrators, and related service providers
  • Modify curricula and employ assistive technologies to promote academic, social-emotional, and functional growth
  • Teach socially acceptable behaviors using positive behavioral support systems
  • Monitor progress and communicate regularly with families to align priorities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid Colorado Special Education License
