We're currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist($53-58/hr) to support Elementary students in the North Chicago, IL area for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree in Psychology
  • PEL or Type 73 with the school psychology endorsement

Role Overview:
A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success.  The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.

Job Details:

  • You will begin working in early  August and work until the end of May 2026 
  • The caseload will be all elementary ages K-5th graders 
  • Daily hours will be from 8:00-2:45
  • In-person position

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administering diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments
  • Using intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services
  • Observing students in various academic and social settings to gain insight and data into students' overall functioning in school
  • Providing consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP
