We're currently seeking dedicated Traveler Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant(s)-COTA ($40-50/hour) in the Napa, CA area. If you're interested, housing is available free of charge! Location is near the botanical gardens and is about 20 minutes from the clinic. 
 
Qualifications:  

  • Associate's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy 
  • Current state COTA License or eligible
  • Comfort level with working independently (under the supervision of an OT)
  • Experience with scheduling a caseload and working with referring medical facilities

Role Overview: 
As a COTA, you will help children develop fine motor skills, adapt to physical or cognitive challenges, or access appropriate tools and techniques under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role offers the opportunity to work with pediatric patients in a supportive clinic environment while making a lasting impact on their development. 

Position Details:    

  • We primarily serve an early intervention population in our clinic 
  • Kids present with developmental delays, ASD, behavior and sensory issues 
  • Clientele are from medical center referrals and private pay patients 
  • This is ideally through May 2026, but we will consider shorter assignments, 32-35 hours per week 
  • Collaborative and family-centered culture prevails   
  • In-person position 

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Provide pediatric OT evaluation and treatment (ages 0–18) focusing on: Sensory processing, behavior management, handwriting, self-care, and fine/gross motor skills.
  • Interventions include: Family education, sensory diets, play/feeding therapy, teletherapy, and customized home programs.
  • Collaborate with ABA, speech therapy, PT, and teachers to support goals; contribute to IFSP/IEP meetings.
  • Documentation: Use HelloNote EMR for evaluations, daily notes, and referrals.
  • Supervision is available as needed.
