Nationwide staffing company focusing on the placement and staffing of pediatric therapists partners with board game company, Blue Orange Games to provide occupational therapy activities for their staff network. PediaStaff will host Blue Orange Games at booth #1022 at the 2013 AOTA Conference.
PediaStaff, Inc. and Blue Orange Games are pleased to announce their attendance at the upcoming AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association) Annual Conference on April 24th through 28th in San Diego, California. The nationwide staffing company and leader in the placement of pediatric therapists will host educational board game company, Blue Orange Games at the PediaStaff, Inc. booth (#1022) in the main exhibition hall.
AOTA Conference attendees are encouraged to visit booth #1022 to learn how PediaStaff can help them find the perfect OT position in their preferred setting, whether schools, clinics, early intervention, hospitals or even adult settings. Blue Orange Games will be giving away a free game every hour, as well as providing game demonstrations, passing out promo items and discussing how to use games as pediatric therapy activity.
Many pediatric occupational therapists integrate game play into their practice to develop and reinforce a wide range of cognitive, motor, and social skills. Children easily bore of worksheets and traditional exercises; skill-based games provide a winning solution for kids, parents, and therapists. PediaStaff has partnered with Blue Orange Games to offer therapists engaging games and ideas to target a range of learning needs. Blue Orange will donate games to PediaStaff’s clinical lending library on an ongoing basis and provide games for professional assessment on the growing network of therapists’ blogs.
“Blue Orange’s educational games are compact and perfect for therapists who are always on the move and don’t usually have classrooms of their own. The games are easily adaptable for kids with special needs and are fun for neurotypical family members. The price is right too, so parents can carryover work at home, and they’re affordable for schools with limited budgets. I think the OT’s visiting our booth will be very interested to see how they can use their games to advance therapy goals,” said Heidi Kay, Senior Partner and co-founder of PediaStaff.
