Easter Egg Maracas

Every year, after Easter has come and gone, I continue to find plastic Easter eggs lying around my house that my kids collected during community egg hunts and from their Easter baskets. I try to save as many as possible to reuse them next year but really, how many extra plastic Easter eggs do you need? These maracas are a creative way to get extra use out of them…and they’ll keep the kids entertained for hours.

When I made these with my two kids, we had a little fun raiding my craft box for creative Washi tape to use. Each kid was able to pick out several colors and patterns that they loved, allowing them to make the maracas uniquely theirs.
