We are looking for an Elementary Special Education Teacher to work at a great school district near the vicinity of Maywood, IL for the SY2021-22. This is a full-time position working with a 3rd-5th grade population, so if you are interested, apply today!

Special Education Teacher position details:
* August 9,11,13 – New Teacher Orientation
* August 16-17 Teacher Institute, and August 19th is the First Day of Student Attendance!
* Case Management responsibilities as well.
* Creating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting IEP Goals, behavior intervention plans, and academic progress
* You will work with a 3rd-5th-grade population, caseload is 15-20 students.
* Experience working within an MTSS/Problem Solving Team, diverse student population, and low-income
* Co-teaching/Co-Planning Push-in Model
* You will work in one building from 8:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday

Qualifications: You will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and have LBS1 certification
