Are you an SLP who knows American Sign Language? Use your ASL and SLP skills in this school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position located in dynamic Spartanburg, SC! Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Spartanburg offers its own blend of character and individuality.

* Start in the fall of the coming 2021/2022 school year
* School hours are Monday – Friday 7:45 AM – 3:15 – 3:30 PM depending on when treatments end
* Provide therapy services to students who are deaf, blind, and multi-sensory disabled
* Provides direct and indirect speech therapy services as indicated on student IEP’s and monitors student progress
* Evaluates students to determine the need for Speech/Language services and completes written evaluation reports, and develops IEP’s as appropriate
* Writes progress reports and summaries of treatment for Medicaid and ensures all documentation is complete in a timely manner
* Attends IEP meetings as required
* Supportive, collaborative district with the children at heart
* Full-Time position, with benefits, offered

Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Requires Licensure by the SC Department of Education in Speech-Language Therapy; a Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (Communication Disorders); ASHA (American Speech Hearing Association) certification preferred. This position may require communication modalities dependent upon employment placement
