Are you a Speech-Language Pathologist who would like to work in the school system? This position goes from now to June 2 and you should have flexibility in your hours daily from 9:00 – 2:00. Typical hours could range from 10 – 20 hours per week depending on caseload size, pending evaluations, and case conferences. The Speech-Language Pathologist will treat students ages 3 – 21 who have qualified for services in the private schools (elementary and high school) as well as students who have qualified for services that are homeschooled.

Responsibilities:

* The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide input and complete evaluations as part of the multi-disciplinary team evaluation process
* Serve as Teacher of Record for students with primary eligibility of Speech and Language Impairment
* Attend and participate in grade-level data team meetings as assigned
* Attend and participate in building-level data team meetings to assist with the development of intervention plans
* Plan and implement interventions and therapy, monitoring of progress, and analysis of student progress data for students on caseload
* Collaborate with building-level administration to determine building-specific roles and responsibilities
* The Speech-Language Pathologist will consult with teachers and families to provide appropriate services through an integrated delivery model
* Provide staff training and professional development
* Complete Medicaid billing requirements with fidelity and in a timely manner
* Complete speech and language screenings through the building level referral process
* Coordinate hearing screenings

Qualifications: include current Indiana SLP teaching license, IPLA licensure, and CCC-SLP through ASHA.
