Are you looking for apple-themed activities to try in speech therapy? It’s one of my favorite times of year-apple season!  There are so many unique apple-themed activities for speech therapy to do with your students in the fall. Working on different themes in speech therapy is important. It’s engaging and fun for students, it helps build vocabulary related to certain themes and truthfully, it makes planning a lot easier. When I worked in the school setting, I tried to coordinate my themes with the classroom teachers that I worked with and sometimes even the OT and PT as well. This worked especially well when pushing into different teacher’s rooms for speech therapy because we were all focusing on the same theme, but with different goals for students in mind.
