Career Corner: Interview Question of the Week – Tell Us About a Strength of Yours That is Also a Weakness
A fairly common interview question to expect is “Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.” Another one that is related but could potentially trip you up is:
“Sometimes a personality trait can be both a strength and a weakness. Give me an example of a trait that you possess that is both a strength and also a weakness for you”
Here is an article on Leadership Delta that does a great job discussing how you might answer this question.
Before your next interview, chew on that one and give it some thought. Write down your answer to this one and other questions for easy review the next time you have an interview or have to present yourself for a promotion or advancement.
