Job of the Week: Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Champaign, IL

 
We are working with a client who has an immediate full time need for a Pediatric Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Champaign, IL.  
The hours are flexible as you can make your own schedule based on which clients you will need to sit in and supervise but  some BCBAs work 4, 10 hour days, or 5, 8 hour days.  Some Saturday hours required.
This is a 100% home health setting.  This position requires 65% billable productivity–26 billable hours and the remaining non-billable hours (14 hours). The billable hours are mostly comprised of supervising and doing home visits.  This can also include doing any assessments, etc….  The only time BCBAs typically have to provide the direct therapy is if they aren’t hitting their productivity or if a therapist is unable to make a session, so the BCBA will sub. The BCBA will be supervising a whole team of Line Therapists and Lead Line Therapists.  
You will oversee a staff of therapists inclusive of training, counseling, mentoring and leading them to become better at providing their critically important work.  You will also interface with families and children supervising the implementation of assessment goals, behavior plans and ongoing monitoring of progress within each child’s program.  You will conduct assessments for new clients.   Salary is commensurate with experience and ranges anywhere from $55,000 – $65,000.  BCaBAs will also be considered.   

Qualifications:

  • BCBA with current certification or BCaBA
  • Previous experience working in a reputable clinic, home or school program is highly desired
  • Must have a strong background in setting up language programs to facilitate the acquisition of communication skills
  • Consultants should be able to work with children who range from high functioning to low functioning ASD and be able to develop and supervise the implementation of clinical programs in the home, school and community environments
  • Motivated, excellent work ethic, high degree of quality work
  •  Able to work independently and as a team member in a dynamic, fast pace environment including one that is building structure and process as it goes along; must be flexible and patient
  • Work with minimal direction
  • Great team player
