The Ghouls Are Gone. It’s Time to Talk Turkey!

fruitturkey

The last of your little ghouls are leaving your classrooms, but don’t despair, because more favorite holidays are around the corner!

Let’s start talking turkey, and share with everyone your favorite ideas to incorporate a Thanksgiving theme into your speech-language, OT, and PT lessons.

This pictures is actually my family’s attempt several years ago of an idea we saw first  on FamilyGo.com via Pinterest.   It was a big hit with the kids and kept them out of everyone’s way while we were cooking!

The body is a honeydew melon.   The head is a pear.   The eyes are two raisins.   The feet and feathers are colorful bell peppers and then the plume is cheese, raisins and grapes on wooden skewers.    Too much fun!!!
