PT Corner: Games for Virtual Therapy

[Source:  Starfish Therapies]

Since virtual therapy seems like it will be here for a while, we wanted to share some ways we have been motivating our kids to participate and keep the same exercises fresh! Also check out our Teletherapy Ideas Round-Up post for all of our ideas!

  1. Make a list and a drawing of something – (ex. spiderman and 6 enemies – however many items are on the list). Every time the child finishes an item on the list, one enemy gets crossed off. You can use your imagination as to if it collecting treasure, picking flowers, etc. Base it on your child’s interests!
  2. Story – following a storyline and incorporating activities in it (princess rescuing prince, treasure hunt, video game, etc.) Check out our longer post for an example of this!
